Investor Data Warehouse Developer (Closed)

Our customer is seeking an Investor Data Warehouse Developer.

Overview:

• Distribution Technology team in company's own Asset Management Technology is seeking a developer to work on third party sales investor data warehouse
• The platform provides solutions to sales management, executive committee reporting, revenue sharing, and feeds the firm’s books and records
• Meet the financial needs of institutional and individual investors by helping them meet current financial obligations and plan their financial future

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for participating in all phases of the software development cycle, with a focus on data analysis/support
• Feed ETL/processing
• User query support
• Assist in building out interface to third party data provider

Qualifications:

• Data warehousing and ETL experience (3+ yrs)
• Strong Sybase database skills (3+ yrs)
• Core server side Java technologies (3+ yrs)
• Unix/Linux Shell/Perl Scripting
• Proficiency in problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a multi-site team environment

Preferred:

• Sybase IQ experience
• Experience with data, BI and data warehousing methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of mutual funds and sales reporting applications
• Project management skills
• Technical design & architecture skills
• Highly organized individual able to manage multiple tasks
