Our customer is seeking a Business Systems Analyst.


  • Partner with front end teams to align existing systems and processes to updated/new systems with respect to information security, compliance and risk analysis
  • Drive process improvement through seeking out and identifying opportunities, business process definition and system alignment
  • Function as the Information technology Information Security lead, compliance, and Vendor Risk liaison between the CISO and the business
  • This position requires you to work closely with the software development teams, Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) and business partners to ensure compliance with the corporate information security and compliance standards, policies and procedures for the division and corporation


  • Identify business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process with respect to information security and compliance
  • Conduct business process evaluations to gain technical knowledge for the area of compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department manager and information security management
  • Observe and evaluate tests of the organization's disaster recovery and business continuity readiness
  • Ensure that risk identification, analysis, and mitigation activities are integrated into system life cycle and change management processes
  • Work with various IT operations, support and application development teams to assess information security vulnerabilities and needs, evaluate remediation options, and coordinate implementation of security improvements that effectively support efforts to achieve business objectives, as well as appropriately address changes to the business environment and events that affect security safeguards
  • Define and manage an information security awareness and training program
  • Track and report on remediation efforts for security issues to management
  • Implement the Vendor Risk assessment program for the business segment
  • Provide information for Client RFI and Risk assessments for business segment products
  • Assess and remediate Corporate Compliance Policies, Standards and Procedures to ensure compliance with all the rules and regulations including company-specific and statutory regulations
    Flexibility in work hours in order to effectively communicate with onshore and offshore resources in various time zones


  • BS degree or equivalent work experience in the area of Computer Science, Information Technology, or information security and compliance
  • 4-8 years of directly related experience, including 4 or more years experience in the fields of information technology audit and information security
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and established policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoots a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise
  • Working knowledge of and experience in the policy and regulatory environment of information security and compliance
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security administration, architecture, processes, procedures and controls and how they are implemented within the business
  • Ability to effectively work with outside third party business providers
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks and security compliance requirements (SOX-404, PCI, etc.)
  • High level of understanding for data security in a global environment
  • Sufficient knowledge to apply “best practices” approach to data confidentiality and security
  • Negotiates and gains consensus from cross functional teams and influences department processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of emerging technology solutions and industry trends a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM or CIPP is highly preferred
