Software Engineer

Our customer is seeking a Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Low level software design, including class level diagrams and internal software messaging
• Implement the software solution with the required Java and web technologies listed above with full conformance to robust and extensible and testable architecture
• Provide documentation to all the software designs
• Comply with the software development process, including coding guidelines, code reviews, open source reviews
• Support the test teams to resolve issues prior and after commercial launch of products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in commercial web software development roles leveraging Java and MVC framework technologies
• Able to build web prototypes using HTML/CSS/JS
• Hands-on experience in various Java web technologies including Stripes/Struts/JSF/JSP/AJAX
• Familiar with web service and messaging technologies including JMS/JPA/JAX-WS/Apache CXF/Spring/SOAP/REST
• Experience working with J2EE App Servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss or any of the commercial servers like WAS, WL
• Familiar with compatibility issues among the major browsers including at least IE/Firefox/Chrome/Safari
• Experience with mobile web development
• Visual design experience preferred
