Software Dev: Modem (Closed)

Our customer is seeking an Engineer 2 for a Software Developer: Modem position.

Brief Overview:

• Panda is an internal test equipment to simulate fading and multipath conditions to test the Modem performance of the ASICs
• This is a product developed by cross functional engineering teams (digital hardware, RF hardware, Software and Systems)
• The product is developed and customized as fixed test configurations to cater to the Modem test needs
• The job involves maintaining existing software and developing new configuration for new technologies based on customer needs
• In this process, the candidate shall be working with different engineering teams in coming up with the optimum solution

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years experience
• Minimum 3+ years of object-oriented software development experience using C++
• Strong knowledge of C/C++/Perl/Python programming languages
• Any embedded experience is a plus
• Any RF experience/RF test equipment knowledge will be a plus
• Knowledge of CDMA/UMTS/LTE technologies is a plus
• Should be team player
• Should have strong oral and written
• Great communication skills
