Product Support Engineer (Oracle SOA / Java) (Closed)

Our customer is seeking a Product Support Engineer (Oracle SOA / Java).

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing Service Oriented Architecture integration solutions using middleware software

Utilizing your technology skills to maintain and enhance web services and application interfaces in an Oracle SOA Suite Weblogic environment to integrate with ERP Systems 

Work with the Architecture team to ensure SOA standards and best practices are followed

Be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, unit testing, and quality assurance procedures

Design, develop and maintain integration solutions and business process that execute business processes in a SOA/BPEL/OSB/Weblogic environment

Use established programming methodologies to meet specified business requirements within project deadlines

Develop unit tests and quality assurance procedures

Document code and processes clearly

Ensure data integrity and quality

Work with Architecture team to develop and document best practices in SOA design patterns

Work with key Business Associates or Business Account Managers to implement business requirements into integration or service oriented solutions

Be proactive in contributing to the overall solution

Review, route and/or respond to system or user issue management IT tickets

Employ a high level of problem solving skills to identify and diagnose complex problems

Trouble-shoot, analyze and fix production problems and defects

Qualifications:

Srong team skills to collaborate with others

Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using Oracle SOA Suite (JDeveloper, BPEL Process Manager, Enterprise Manager)

4+ years of systems software integration projects utilizing XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT

Experience working with SQL and PLSQL in Oracle and SQL Server databases

Experience in the design and implementation of web services (SOAP, REST, WS Security)

Experience developing in Weblogic Application

Strong background in developing Service Oriented integration solutions

Strong knowledge of J2EE technology, XPath/XQuery, Java, and BPEL

Working knowledge of enterprise data models (eg, OAGi, AIA, SAP

Unix shell scripting experience

Oracle Service Bus and /or SAP NetWeaver experience is a plus
