SkillStorm is seeking a Risk Officer / Analyst for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The Unemployment Program Risk Team within the Global Compliance and Operational Risk Organization is responsible for providing independent oversight of the activities aligned to this area. Primary responsibilities include assisting with the execution of second line activities including Monitoring, Targeted Assessment, and Testing in support of the Compliance and Operational Risk Coverage Program. Additionally, the Risk Officer will be responsible for tracking and managing current escalations and issues.
• Ability to conduct internal and external research
• Strong relationship management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical and presentation skills using Microsoft Office suite
• Strong risk management, regulatory or policy experience
• Experience working on regulatory matters
• Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as participating in a cross-functional team environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• A preferred candidate should have experience influencing stakeholders and driving an agenda
