Process Overview:

  • The Cyber Security Technology (CST) function within Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, deployment maintenance and support of information technology security controls. The CST team is also responsible for the management of the program/project management teams.
  • This role is suitable for a JIRA Service Management or Jira Software workflow developer / administrator with an established and successful history of JIRA application development, who is also able to be involved in the planning and execution of process automation efforts. Prior experience of working in an agile environments is a requirement.
  • The Individual will be performing the JIRA workflow development activities for GIS teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex automation workflows, field configurations, notifications, etc.
  • Configure and maintain Jira Service Management functionality
  • Develop and maintain ProForma configurations and integrations
  • Extend Jira functionality using Atlassian Plugin SDK for Atlassian Server Products and/or ScriptRunner
  • Develop and maintain functionality to automate administration tasks (user, group, role, schemes, etc.)
  • Evaluate and implement functionality using third party plugins
  • Work with partner teams to negotiate and develop upstream and downstream data integrations
  • Maintain documentation, scripting and/or tooling supporting environment synchronization
  • Follow good SDLC practices including source code control, automated unit testing, automated builds, configuration management, comprehensive documentation, testing and project promotion procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience Range: 4+ years

Mandatory Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Atlassian JIRA Data Center Edition
  • Extensive experience with ScriptRunner, including Groovy Scripting
  • Experience using/extending JIRA REST APIs
  • Experience developing Jira Data Center Extensions using Java SDK
  • Experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS for user facing customizations
  • Good Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle; preferably with Agile, Kanban/Scrum
  • Experience with cyber security related workflows.
