Information Security Engineer (Closed)

Job Description:

• The Information Security Engineer is responsible for helping to define, drive, and deliver major components of Bank of America’s security strategy. You will work with the Program leader on complex, multi-million dollar projects that deliver world-class User/Data Protection controls in support of strategy. Knowledge and experience with information security controls, infrastructure and implementation techniques is a key component to this role. You will demonstrate extraordinary organizational and cross-functional communication skills to drive data loss prevention best practices across the Enterprise.
• In this role you will partner with network security specialists both within GIS and with partner organizations in our technology infrastructure security group to design network based data loss prevention (DLP) solutions related to bank web activity. Specifically the individual will be responsible for design, configuration and deployment of DLP solutions. You will utilize in-depth knowledge of network architecture, network traffic capture and hardware and software configuration.
• You will be involved with all aspects of the data loss prevention solutions in order to aide in testing, certification and implementation of network security solutions.

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of network security infrastructure components from a design and implementation perspective.
• Deep understanding of web proxy controls
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite especially Visio
• Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization
• Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills
• Knowledge of change and project management methodologies and principles
• Demonstrated ability to self-direct project outcomes, with minimal supervision
• Excellent process design capability to improve overall efficiency, mitigate resource conflicts, and improve customer/client experience

Desired Skills:

• Experience with network data loss prevention products such as McAfee (preferred), Symantec, or Forcepoint.
• Experience with SIEM systems including Splunk or ArcSight
• Experience with GigaMon architecture and configuration
