Workforce Software Consultant (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Workforce Software Consultant for a fully remote position. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead projects that include strategy development, requirements definition, business process improvement, stakeholder involvement, change management, quality assurance, risk management, user training, application configuration, system installation, and testing
  • Provide consulting services to the global organizations in HCM best practices and help clients to migrate to Cloud solutions
  • Facilitate design workshops with the client
  • Deliver SME application expertise and prepare / review application management deliverables (e.g. incident status updates, continuous improvement recommendations, enhancement estimates, technical configurations, process change and testing scenario recommendations)
  • Ensure design and deliver high quality solutions via system configuration that meet overall business requirements
  • Work with team members to facilitate successful integration between HR Systems
  • Clearly document system configuration and business processes
  • Effectively transfer knowledge to the customer for on-going support
  • Lead and manage a project team including building and maintaining a delivery plan
  • Keep abreast of new and relevant releases and features and stay a certified expert in your respective area(s)
  • Participate in practice strategy and planning
  • Build and maintain relationships with key IT counterparts and business stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • Workforce Software Certification
  • 5+ years of implementation experience as a Workforce Software Time and Attendance certified consultant
  • Knowledge of the various workforce management disciplines like Leave Accruals, Attendance Tracking, Compliance monitoring, Employee Self Service, Activity tracking
  • Additional considerations: Fatigue Management, Absence Compliance Tracker, Advanced Scheduler
  • Thorough understanding of Workforce Software functions and the ability to research & apply business best practices
  • Deep understanding of how applications support business processes. Ability to apply this knowledge to solve client business problems.
  • Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience
  • Keen attention to detail specifically when given direction, gathering requirements, listening to customers, documenting issues, and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate solutions and deployment to various stakeholder levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan and manage your own work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Workforce Software Functional Certification is required
  • Workforce Software Technical Certification (L1) is required, L2 preferred
  • Certification for additional modules Advanced Scheduling, Absence Compliance Tracker, and Fatigue Management is a plus
  • Working knowledge of integrations and configurations within S4 Hana, Employee Central Payroll, and Workforce Software hosted solution is a plus
  • Experience in one application management role, and at least one other as an implementation or application management role.  Is a plus
  • Experience in related SAP HCM / SuccessFactors and related business processes including integration with related modules (Finance, SAP HCM, Employee Central)
  • Experience designing and improving business process and controls
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Experience leading requirements sessions and completing business requirements documentation
  • Ability and desire to share knowledge with customers and to mentor other consultants on the team
  • Strong presentation and consulting skills

Knowledge: 

  • Skilled at knowledge sharing of functional and technical information with other team members
  • Experience conducting end user training
  • Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems. Must be a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their knowledge in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to grasp business concepts and setup applications accordingly
  • Ability to multi-task, exercise sound judgment and prioritize conflicting demands of time with minimal supervision
  • Team player; always working towards win/win relationships
  • Self-guided person able to work in a changing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members and customers, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate understanding of the integration points with other HR systems and modules
