Security Software Developer (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Security Software Developer for our client in Addison, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:

- This is a Security Software Developer role that will be a midlevel security software responsible for maintaining home grown and vendor security applications primarily related to crypto/security functions.
- You would be part of the highly visible Global Information Security (GIS) team where you will gain an indepth understanding of the business partner's requirements for the applications/systems. These requirements will then be used to make determinations and recommendations on the technical and operational feasibility of the solutions. You will be required to maintain and enhance already developed applications for hosted crypto solutions and integrate end user applications to leverage these feasibilities.
- You may work to develop prototypes of the system design and work with database, operations, technical support, and other various technology areas throughout the development and implementation processes. You will use your knowledge and abilities as senior technical resource to provide your expertise to the team.
- You should have hands on programming role with gathering system requirements and translating it to frontend and backend development.
Required Skills:
- Development background in C#, C++, .net core, Entity, MVC, SQL Server with any UI experience
- DevOps CI/CD/Jenkins experience required
- Web application development in Angular is highly preferred
- Database Security knowledge in Oracle DB, SQL, PL/SQL
- Familiar with RESTful API design and security or cryptographic libraries
- Strong Unix/Linux, Red Hat, CentOS
- Security background on different AAA mechanisms by different IDP providers etc.
Desired Skills:
- BASH and Powershell/ Python scripting
- Strong communication skills and technical documentation skills
- Certificate lifecycle, digital signatures, code signing, timestamp etc…
- Familiar with Splunk and other monitoring tools.
