Security Architect (Closed)

The IT Infrastructure Security auditor will serve as a technical SME regarding the asset security baseline lifecycle, contributing to a technical audit of asset baseline lifecycle. They will be accountable for evaluating the organization’s established policies and procedures in the establishment, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the asset baseline (gold standard) for a variety of key technologies utilized.

• Responsible for design and implementation of security strategy, architecture and platforms.
• Responsible for enterprise due-diligence activities including security monitoring and security metrics to evaluate effectiveness of the enterprise security program and established controls.
• Accountable for adhering to enterprise architecture standards, ensuring security technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization and contributing to enterprise architecture strategy-setting.
• Responsible for ensuring necessary security controls are part of technical designs.
• Participates in security governance processes.
• Evaluates strengths and flaws in Security Architecture designs including performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability, access and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications
• Experience designing, implementing or evaluating:
o policies and procedures regarding sharing data with 3rd-parties,
o technologies, platforms and protocols for secure internal and external transfers of data,
o procedures to ensure that active data transfers align with active and valid contractual agreements
• Experience with IT hardware and software asset management processes and tools
• Experience with IT security controls
• Experience and understanding of a variety of technologies and protocols (AIX Unix, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, EDIFECS, application program interfaces (APIs), secure file transfer protocols, encryption protocols)
• Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience applying current and emerging technology security solutions and trends including security and regulatory industry requirements
• Demonstrated effective decision-making skills related to assessing security architecture and design
• Knowledge of Information Security procedures and controls.
• Knowledge of common information management systems

Preferred Qualifications
• Information Security certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM)
• Extensive experience with IT Infrastructure Services components and how to enable the business while at the same time providing the appropriate level of Security controls

• 5+ Years Information Technology Experience
• 3-5 years Security, Application or Systems Architecture Experience

• Bachelor's IT related degree required or relevant work experience
