Release Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Release Manager for our client in Addison, TX OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Have a strong technical acumen.
  • Ability to partner with others for the good of the initiative. – Lean-Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Safe Agile methodologies.
  • Created and managed the Release process within, implementations and deployments for application changes in different Agile projects in the Cloud, SAS/LBaaS and Network space.
  • Worked closely with the development teams, scrum masters, project managers, and product owners to plan and coordinate the releases and oversee release dependencies.
  • Created and maintained release calendar and ensured to get approvals for Remedy change management tickets.
  • Communicated upcoming releases to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related field/technical training.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience required in Technical role supporting network project/programs.
  • Industry Certifications in PMP, ITIL are strongly preferred, technical certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
  • Experience with Change Management and CAB processes and procedures a must.
  • Strong background in IT service delivery role.
  • Worked with our vendor, Cisco, to deliver an automated solution to the bank for making network changes using CICD within DevOps.
