Project Manager / Delivery Lead (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager / Delivery Lead for our client in Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• 5-7 years previous experience managing technology projects using SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Strong leadership skills to lead project team to deliver the technology solution with quality, on-time, and within budget
• Strong communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate project status, issues, risks at all levels including key stakeholders and executives
• Ability to identify, communicate, and drive critical path activities, dependencies, timelines, and resources
• Previous experience managing project budget and financials to execute appropriate due diligence and financial management routines to deliver against financial commitments
• Ability to drive Enterprise Project Standards for planning, executing, and controls and meeting project audit requirements
• Risk management and ability to identify potential risks and escalate as needed, remove roadblocks to ensure progress
• Ability to identify all impacted teams, applications, and engage as needed for design, development, testing through to deployment(s)
• Ability to partner with testing teams to ensure testing timelines and deliverables are met
• Ability to identify deployment readiness plans and documentation and ensure deployment timelines and event are coordinated with broader planned release activities and externally impacted application teams
• Proactive in driving team to achieve commitments and results

Desired Skills:

• Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery –e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
• Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
• Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
• Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
• Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
• Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.
• Supports resource planning for delivery/execution.

Justification:

• Need delivery lead to support SFI (Legacy Document Management Platform ATMOS Storage); Delivery Lead, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables.
