SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Richardson, TX OR Plano, TX OR Atlanta, GA OR Charlotte, NC OR Jacksonville, FL OR Michigan. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Manages multiple related and interdependent projects and technology change initiatives specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does Merchant Services related business, provides a product or service, or executes a function.
- Project responsibility requires responsibility for budget and indirect interaction with multiple technology teams.
- Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources across multiple CIO technology organizations and teams.
- Ability to analyze present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.
- Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control.
- Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles.
- Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and deciding technology processes to support the business needs.
- Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
- Responsible for enterprise and/or line of business-wide, cross functional, high impact strategic initiatives by ensuring delivery of business outcomes from portfolio investments.
- Leading a Team: Accountable for team level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback
Required Skills:
- Typically 5+ plus years of project management support experience.
- Management experience with small teams supporting technology/ technology delivery.
- Practical knowledge of BAC Change Management policies
- Practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
- Versed in Financial Management
- Excellent Communication (written and oral)
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project

- Jira experience
- PMMT, PCM experience
- PPRT experience
