Network Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Network Engineer for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX OR Newark, DE. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Responsibilities:

• Using analytics and telemetry to develop and evolve the continual service improvement strategy to include engineering features and bug fixes, large programs in flight, and driving vendors and technology partners to deliver stability updates.
• Representing service improvements and establish KPIs across engineering and operations teams
• Creating deliverables consistent with continuous service improvement principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices from both a bank and industry perspective
• Defining and validating technical issues, and establishing traceability using telemetry and reviewing architecture and design to maintain improvements.
• Providing expert knowledge, support and guidance to business and technology teams in concert with engineering leader support.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and recommending fixes or modifications to eliminate application crashing on Windows endpoints

Required Job Skills:

• 3-7 year of relative experience in Windows platform architecture
• Ability to articulate complex technical issues to tech partners, vendors and senior stakeholders in order to gain support for improvement activity.
• Delivery mindset and ability to escalate asks to bring closure to large problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer-focus mindset
• Ability to manage an issue with an owner mentality
• Windows 10/11, ability to generate and read Windows application crash dumps and blue screens of death
