.NET / Angular Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a .NET / Angular Developer for our client in Addison, TX OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Leads, develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
• Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
• Works under minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Lead developer to develop and maintain software applications in Agile manner to support business units or supporting functions.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 6-8 years .NET/Web full stack development experience with web services (SOAP & REST)
• Strong database development skills in building stored procedures against SQL Server (creating tables, view, complex stored procedure, triggers and performance tuning)
• MVC, Angular 7+, JQuery, UI development, Restful APIs, C#, ADO.NET, HTML/CSS skills required
• Experience in debugging IIS server logs and application errors
• Familiarity in publishing code to various environments through FTP or any using CD tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Javascript, Typescript
• Agile scrum development experience is required – Rally/Jira
• Team player, ability to work with onshore/offshore is mandatory
• Must be able to lead offshore teams technically providing insight in agile scrum model
• Familiarity with architecture (N-Tier) and design patterns
• Knowledge and understanding of SOLID principles and OOP design
• Experience working with source control tools like TFS , GIT or Bit bucket

Desired Skills:

• Good understanding of working with other database systems like DB2 is a strong plus
• Development experience with messaging systems like MSMQ, IBM MQ is a plus 
• 6-8 years
