Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Addison, TX OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Data Transaction Service is responsible for developing and deploying secure multi-patented data sharing technologies between all lines of business and external entities. Data Transaction Service sits within the Global Banking and Markets Technology organization which provide liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to small businesses, middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world.
• Design, develop and integrate services in large-scale distributed enterprise infrastructures (cloud, etc.).
• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications on diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
• Build tools to automate, provision, deploy, monitor and manage production systems
• Manage deployment & configuration.
• Work closely with different teams to debug and solve production issues

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Object Oriented Design and Programming
• Senior development experience (7+ years) with Java/J2EE technologies
• 2 years' experience in MuleSoft is plus
• Experience or able to work on open source code, such as Apache Camel, Karaf, Kafka or ActiveMQ, Apache FTP, or MuleSoft, Experienced on data network and good knowledge on network protocol, such as TCP/IP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and server certificate.
• Knowledge on Service Mesh, Service discovery, istio, and Microservices
• Working knowledge on Linux and Shell scripting, DB script, file transfer protocols and network security
• Familiar with Agile development process, JIRA, CI/CD pipeline, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Good communication skills and capable of working as a team player

Desired Skills:

• Some experience in Angular, Web App development, and Client side technology
• Good to have experience in Microsoft technology, such as APS .Net, C#
• Experience on OpenShift or cloud technology
• Knowledge on IBM Connect Direct
