SkillStorm is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• This is for mortgage fulfillment platform. This platform supports 10,000+ mortgage fulfillment staff to process various types of mortgage loans including government loans. Platform interacts with over 20 other specialized systems hosted within Client and by different vendors.

Role Description:

• Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests iFulfill and related applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions utilize diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.
• Participates in the agile Planning, backlog story grooming, design, coding, debug, and unit test complex Java applications, often using new technologies.
• Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.
• Works effectively with offshore developers.
• Typically requires 2-8 years hands on experience working on below software.

Required Skills: (Candidate should have hands on experience in several areas listed below)

• Hands on develop/debug & unit test experience in –
• J2EE 6+ using WebSphere or IBM Liberty Server or Tomcat or other applications server.
• Java Frameworks like Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Hibernate, Log 4j.
• Micro services using Spring.
• PL/SQL using Oracle 11g+ or other relational DB.
• Web Application development using JSP, Angular, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Java script.
• Hands on experience on BitBucket/GIT version control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with distributed team including offshore.

Familiar with:

• Knowledge of Java/J2EE patterns.
• Knowledge of Splunk
• Knowledge of Kafka, JMS
• Rules development using iLog/ODM, Powercurve
• Web 2.0/RIA software tools like ExtJS, GWT, DoJo
• Knowledge of Agile, JIRA software
• Knowledge on SOAP & RESTful web services, and web service tools like SOAPUI, PostMan.
• Backend processing jobs using Spring Batch. 
• Mortgage Domain knowledge is Plus.
