SkillStorm is seeking a Release and Deployment Manager for our client in Richardson, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• The release and deployment manager/coordinator will plan and coordinate all phases of activities involved in releasing and deploying network infrastructure changes related to Voice, Data, WIFI, video and security in a large scale corporate network.

The position should have experience with at least one or more of these technologies:

• Technical skills in circuit installation, broadband, WiFi, as well as Voice, data and security.
• Technical management skills with the ability to manage multiple deployments at once.
• Functional understanding of networked applications
• Trouble shooting management skills
• May provide technical input into development of business cases and technology estimates
• May have direct accountability for leading a team including but not limited to internal, global and third party associates for complex releases
• Responsible for managing technology design integrity with varying levels of complexity from implementation to operational turn-over, and/or may have broad scale accountability for those processes that support initiatives
• Responsible for communicating deployment status across delivery teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders

Desired Job Skills:

• B.S. degree or equivalent preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication. – Must be able to communicate at all organizational levels
• Strong analytical skills – Must be able to think outside the box
• Leadership skills during technical troubleshooting triages
