IT Project Manager III (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Project Manager for our client in Richardson, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• Additional resourcing is required to support the remaining work for MRA1, MRA2, and PTx issue remediation. Includes project management, coordination, reporting and metrics, and logistics for the core Infrastructure remediation team.
• The candidate will be supporting several enterprise level projects related to Change Management and the Permit process.
• Responsibilities include all areas of project management including project scope, schedule, costs, resource utilization, deliverable quality and risk/issue resolution. He or she will serve as a project liaison to business partners, other IT team associates and will communicate scope, progress, and issue risks to stakeholders at various levels. He or she will also gather and or document technical communications plan and coordinate end user readiness.

Skills Required:

• The role is highly collaborative and requires strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and team building skills in a professional environment
• Documentation skills are also required using a variety of tools (MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, etc.)
• Strong background in ITIL framework and processes
• Experience with SDLC (Agile Methodologies/Waterfall) and Project Management Framework
• Familiarity with infrastructure and software technology, and adept at quickly learning technical concepts.
• Agility when dealing with change
• Traditional PM Skills
