SkillStorm is seeking a Hadoop Analyst for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

• Hadoop Analyst

Position Summary:

• This role will contribute across Hadoop risk observation analysis and remediation activities. The candidate should have excellent communication skills to socialize and collaborate across multiple internal technology teams.

Required Skills:

• 5+ year experience leading technology platform re-engineering with ability to interact with senior technology leads and architects
• 5+ years demonstrated expertise on Confluence/JIRA
• Demonstrated ability to develop metrics and implement governance controls to ensure compliance
• Drive the performance of the controls inline with metrics objectives
• 2+ years’ experience working on Hadoop/BigData environment
• Strong skills to uncover potential risk from reported observations
• Ability to communicate the concepts clearly, identify and justify applicable standards and best practices
• Player / Coach with ability to wear multiple hats and do what is required to get the job done

Primary Skill:

Required Skills:

• Hadoop re-engineering, Governance metrics Development

Desired Skills:

• Operational risk management exposure/experience preferred
• SharePoint administration/development experience preferred

Years of experience required:

• 7 – 10 or 10+
