Full Stack Developer (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Full Stack Developer for our client in Addison, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Hands-on Full Stack Developer role with Design, code, test and deploy software in all layers of the development life cycle
- Must have Real-time development experience in Java, Angular, API, Microservices, CI/CD and Kubernetes
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs
- Work with stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of features & enablers
- Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development.
- Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT and SVN.
Required Skills:
- 5 + years of Backend development experience with Node .js, Java, Spring, Spring Boot , RESTAPIs
- Angular experience is a MUST HAVE
- 4+ years of working knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash.
- 4+ years of experience in working in Engineering or Development roles with microservice-based application development
- 2+ years of experience in working with Puppet or Chef for automation and configuration script
- Proven Subject matter expertise in building Web-based high-volume/high-transaction applications
- Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, React, html5, JavaScript, Node.js
- Experience working with Kafka/MQ, JSON, Restful API
- Experience in working Agile environment with incremental code deployments (Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.)
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
- Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
- Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed to collaborate and work with multiple teams.
- Solid team player and excellent troubleshooting skills, proactively work on the issues and should be a self-starter
