Angular / UI Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an Angular / UI Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Key requirements of the role include ensuring that the software is built to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements. This role codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures that the solution can be integrated successfully into the application/system with clear, robust and well-defined interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements
• Participates and guides team in estimating work requirements to realize a story/requirement through the delivery life cycle
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Codes solutions, unit tests and integrates with broader application ecosystem
• Utilizes multiple architectural patterns/components in design and delivery of solutions
• Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, and support of business functionality
• Participates and contributes in delivery/release (CI-CD) events
• Member of distributed Agile team

Top 3 Must Have Skillsets Required:

• Client side technologies like Angular 9+, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of web applications and technologies
• Ability to write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, ADA compliant, high volume production applications
• Build and deployment tools (BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible, JFactory, Jasmine)

Desired Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservices
• Self-starter, organized, versatile and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
• Agile knowledge/experience
• Able to work effectively with dispersed teams in multiple time zones
• Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change
• Operates with a sense of urgency and ownership
• Solid communication skills
