Web Developer

SkillStorm is seeking a Web Developer for our client in Charlotte NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• A senior member of the technical team who develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs web-based software applications that support business transactional and reporting requirements
• Understand clients' applications requirements and identify key application features and functions
• Provide strategic technical direction and design consideration for individual initiatives
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide superior user experience with reduced costs/efforts
• Work with other team members and developers to design and structure requirements
• Design creative prototypes based on specifications
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Troubleshoot applications, find bugs, and offer timely solutions

Primary Skill:

• AngularJS

Tertiary Skill:

• UI/UX - Kendo UI

Required Skills:

• 10+ years Web Application and web services development
• 8+ years using Windows IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc
• 6+ years Angular JS
• 4+ years working with Java and databases to call and write data, queries, etc
• 4+ years of Agile Development processes
• 5+ years requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control and deployment management
• 6+ years Lead development
• BS Computer Science degree or equivalent experience (10+ years)
• 4+ years Financial/Banking Experience
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Jenkins, BitBucket, Kendo JS, Horizon are plus
• 5+ years interacting with the customers/business analysts in gathering requirements and independently able to design and deliver the system
• Experience working with teams in different locations, co-ordination of tasks
