VMware Workflow Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a VMware Workflow Engineer our client in Jersey City, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• 5+ years’ experience in product certification, design and security engineering with VMware vRealize suite (vRA/vRO/vROps)
• Strong system wide knowledge of VMware vRealize Suite automation (v8.x highly desired).
• Proven expertise in Cloud Platform automation using VMware vRA / vRO workflows
• Expertise with VMware vRA Cloud Templates, update Ansible scripts in VMware vRA Cloud templates, create ABX customizations, trigger VMware vRO workflows.
• Expertise with VMware vRA vRO 7.5 to create, update and mange Blueprints, XaaS, complex EBS workflows, component profiles, reservations, compute clusters.
• Experience with REST API based application integration with VMware vRO, Ansible and Python
• Excellent knowledge of VMware vRA / vRO automation within firewalled environments.
• Expert in software languages - Ansible, Python, JavaScript, and/or PowerCLI
• Expert in JSON, XML, CSV and YAML formats.
• Experience with VMware vSAN and NSXT automation highly desired.
• Excellent understanding of all around networking concepts and firewall principles.
• Excellent working knowledge of Agile, Scrum and CIDC pipelines
• Must have 5+ years of extensive hands on experience in developing VMware vRealize Orchestration (vRO) workflows, should be able demonstrate on VMware HOL Labs.
• Must have worked on vRA features including but not limited to Cloud Templates, Blueprints, XaaS, Event broker subscriptions, Storage Profiles, Network Profiles, custom properties, Actions etc
• Must have extensive knowledge of VMware vRA 7.5 with vRA 8.x migration knowledge highly desired.
• Proven expertise in Cloud Platform automation using VMware vRA / vRO workflows
