UX Designer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a UX Designer for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Experience Designer – Portfolio Strategy – Interaction Design

As an Experience Designer, you should have:

• Experience in enterprise wide UX strategy methodologies and/or interaction design
• A foundation in the overall user-centered design process
• Expert communication and story-telling skills with the ability to get buy-in on your ideas within a large organization
• Proficiency at identifying the middle point where business goals harmoniously meet user engagement and excitement

You will:

• Define, create, and maintain the UX vision and strategy on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Work with senior and executive leadership crafting vision and strategy across
• Collaborate with EXD teammates, project stakeholders, technology partners, and executive leadership to identify requirements, set design goals, study users, and craft solutions that translate business and user needs into highly engaging experiences
• Deliver proper documentation and supporting illustrations to develop high-quality user flows and end-to-end experiences that reflect, maintain, and contribute to our design principles and practices
• Gain in-depth understanding of the domain
• Actively evaluate and recommend for the remediation for high impact products & tools supporting value innovation.
• Use strategy workshops & visualization mapping and to understand “big picture” goals in order to define a roadmap to delivery
• Collection and communication of behavioral and attitudinal UX metrics against established LOB benchmarks
• Provide oversight across initiatives within a line of business to ensure alignment to business vision
• Ensure reduction in duplicative work and adoption of reusable components and patterns
• Consistently align to brand and accessibility guidelines
• Create streamlined, reusable processes
• Utilize all five dimensions to consider the interactions between a user and a product in a holistic way.
