Tibco Engineer (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Support Engineer for our client in Newark, DE OR Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- Actively participate in the production support assistance and application monitoring
- Ensures delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional requirements.
- Actively lead complex design, application profiling and platform governance
- Provides technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to Product engineering.
- As part of this role, Support Engineer will be involved in supporting appian environment for the ETASC organization, debugging the issues & errors, working with application teams, open Service requests with appian and working with them when needed, participate in code reviews and provide suggestions etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Write and maintain documentation.
- Highly technical and hands-on is a must
- Perform engineering on product stack and setting baseline standards
- Ensures delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed.
- Provides support and technical governance focused on one or more projects.
- Resource should be flexible to work on weekends & nights if needed.
- Preferred Certifications/Experience in TIBCO Businessworks, iProcess, EMS, hawk, Active spaces,:
- Good understanding in TIBCO Businessworks, iProcess, EMS
- Good programming & Debugging skills in Java, Linux, Oracle
Required Skills:
- A BA/ BS Degree with 7+ years of experience & Strong understanding of Tibco Businessworks, iProcess,EMS & hawk
- Good knowledge in Tibco SOA/BPM products deployment and administration methodologies
- Solid understanding of reuse and portability in terms of enterprise solutions seeking to determine and develop repeatable, efficient, and optimal ways of implementing Businessworks advanced programming
- Ability to prepare use cases, run test cases against product upgrades and hotfixes
- Knowledge in TIBCO Active matrix BPM
- Experience in Linux script utilities & Clustering is needed
- Experience with monitoring and analytical tools such as AppDynamics, SPLUNK, Sitescope, is a major plus
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to deliver proposals; provide user support and interact with team members and other departments.
- Flexible and adaptable, the individual will be open to learning new methodologies, tools, platforms and systems.
- Role requires individuals to be open minded, able to make sound decisions without having all the facts
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Financial Services
- Experience with J2EE platforms, JVM debugging, and process monitoring
