Test Automation Developer (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Test Automation Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC OR New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

- This role brings a ‘testing mindset’ to the team and is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. They are a subject matter expert on testing practices ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved for the team or teams. Key responsibilities of the role include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining, and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in test planning and execution
- Functional testing and database testing experience.
- Experience with test automation tool set – (mainly TOSCA, UFT and/or Selenium or exp with JAVA language)
- Agile tools (JIRA, qTest, etc.)
- Strong SQL scripting / ETL testing skills, Web application testing experience
- Experience with Continuous Integration model
- Strong background in both Agile/Waterfall Methodologies
- Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test design documents
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Continuous Integration model
- Familiarity and experience working with various testing levels such as unit testing, integration testing, functional, regression and end to end system testing
- Highly motivated, able to work independently
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates effectively, builds relationships, influences others
- Familiarity with ADA testing requirements.
