• When you’re with the Trade Booking group, you are part of a dynamic, cross-functional organization with business analysts, developers, and systems engineers, testing professionals and business/technical support professionals. While you specialize in a particular competency, you also have the opportunity to work across disciplines with individuals who have deep subject-matter knowledge and technical experience. Our current and strategic focus is around FX Cash, Bonds, and Derivatives – Straight-Through Processing, Post Trade workflows, Industry workflow execution (Mandatory Clearing, Aggregation, External Matching etc.) and Regulatory reporting.
• We are seeking a senior Tech lead who will own the framework for trade booking, post booking workflows and services and ensure the individual services owner and LOBs are following the common design and framework. This role requires to be hand on in python and Sandra Deal Model. Should be able to help to create the design documents for various projects and get involved with team and other LOBs team members to discuss about the same and gets their sign off. Can oversee and help our on-going development efforts for Operations Workflow Dashboard, FINRA Trace reporting, and the retirement of legacy FX trade booking platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design for scalable, highly reliable, enterprise global systems in a structured, disciplined, and fast-moving environment.
• Mentor others to develop within a controlled process according to design and high quality of code.
• Perform code reviews for every release and relay feedback constructively.
• Ensure team follows Agile principles outlined within BAML’s SDM process.
• Support the production environment, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systems.
• Fast in learning and adopting of new framework and technologies. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience leading global team (7-10).
• Strong in any programming language (Python, Java, C#)
• Experience owning post trade platforms and knowledge to the cross-asset products lifecycle.
• Continuous track record of developing high performant trading platform and services.
• Must be a self-starter, independent thinker with excellent communication.
• Ability to work in fast development environment and adapt quickly.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, written skills and ability to work with senior tech/business management.
