Technical Writer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Technical Writer for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Work with Product Owner, Managers, and Engineers to produce and maintain documentation include User Guide, Workflow, Procedures, and platform documentation
• Build and Maintain documentation typical documentation include online, demos, and training guides
• Learn complex concepts and communicate information in easy to understand by users
• Gather feedback on documentation to improve usability
• Act as editor to ensure consistency in documents across teams
• Monitor metrics and usage of training materials as well as direct customer feedback

Required and Desired Candidate Qualifications Including # of Years Prior Experience Needed

• 3+ years of technical writing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and experience working content in multiple medium
• Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
• Experience writing and preparing executive level presentations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work on multiple project in fast-paced, changing environment
• Experience working with following tools: Confluence/JIRA, Git & Github, Sharepoint, HTML/CSS, Javascript
