Technical Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our client in Pennington, NJ OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Work as a Project Manager in the Global Banking Technology Team. Provide infrastructure and application delivery support on multiple applications involving the managing capacity, services, and various projects deliverables.

Responsibilities Include:

• Drive complex solution deliveries, technical issues, problems related to supported applications, networks, servers and like technologies.
• Plan timeframe of service releases with application teams
• Identify solutions to work around open issues / problems that are under investigation or pending resolution.
• Supports program and project management responsibilities relating to application software implementations and upgrades.
• Role has matrix execution responsibility across multiple technology teams
• Manages multiple projects or a single complex project. Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions.
• Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment.
• Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility.
• Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years’ experience in similar role
• Educational background and experience in technology with knowledge of programs and projects frameworks
• Strong Project Management Skills MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Power Point
• Ability to manage the successful execution of technical solutions whether by a single team or multiple teams, including disparate teams globally
• Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently
• Team player with good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and flexibility
• Must be able to face off to business and technology leaders of varying levels of seniority
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguity
• Keen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability for work 
• Skills that are a “plus” 
• Experience of large-scale complex projects
• A passion for technology and banking operations
• Extensive data analysis and associated presentation
• Infrastructure/application delivery projects (servers, storage, network, etc.)
