Technical Project Manager (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC, Richardson, TX, OR Richmond, VA. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- The Technical Project Manager (TPM) for Employee Experience Technology (EET) will lead a large project or multiple projects, coordinate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget.
- Candidate must be a Sr. Level Project Manager with 10-12 years of experience in a large, fast-paced corporate environment.
- Supports the infrastructure delivery needs of the Employee Experience Technology line of business in a TPM (Technical Project Manager) role.
- Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact, including NPT work.
- Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests.
- Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results.
- Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives.
- Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area.
Required Skills:
- 10+ Years of Project Management experience
- Ability to multi-task, as well as being flexible to assist team members as needed
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for all levels in the organization
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lead complex projects and / or programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must be able to develop and manage project plans and budgets
- Must be able to manage risks and issues in a complex technical environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
- Must have a working knowledge of infrastructure systems and solutions utilized within the Bank
- Must have experience successfully delivering infrastructure technology projects
Desired Skills:
- Computer Science/Information Systems bachelors degree
- PMP certified
- Previous Client TPM experience.
- General knowledge of Employee Experience Technology business operations, applications, and strategy.
- Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural environment
- Proven ability to work independently, multi task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator.
- Detail oriented and organized
- Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Motivation to achieve results and the ability to quickly integrate into teams
