Technical Business Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • Technical Business Analyst with technology depth sufficient to provide oversight of the end to end systems. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications and application changes, often using new technologies. Detail oriented and well organized. Interacts with Architects, Business Partners and Third Party Vendors. The applications include diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.

Required Skills:

  • Experience facilitating technical requirements definition meetings with technical Subject Matter Experts
  • Prior experience with translating technical requirements into system specifications
  • Acts as liaison between software developers, system engineers and vendors technical resources
  • Knowledge delivering within Agile development environment
  • Support Agile Story development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Routine accountability is for technical requirements, knowledge and capabilities. Able to work under minimal supervision, with general guidance.
  • Knowledge of Java, Oracle, SQL, Healthcare claims desired. Adaptable to change in a fast paced environment. Typically requires 7-10 years of experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience on Unix / Linux environment support
  • Experience on Mid-range multitier platforms
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks/libraries such as jQuery/AngularJS/Bootstrap/JSON/CSS/HTML and others
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, Oracle, Agile methodology and Jira; knowledge of healthcare claims processing
  • Experience with Web Logic, Apache
  • Exposure and familiarity with image processing OCR/ICR
  • Experience working in environments with highly sensitive data
  • Experience in large scale migrations across internal/external secure connections
  • Exposure and familiarity with machine learning, business process automation, robotics process automation and natural language processing
  • Exposure and working knowledge to Model Risk Management
