Technical Business Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for our client in Jersey City, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Richmond, VA. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Program team require a backfill Technical Business Analyst following the promotion of the incumbent to a Band 4 Strategy Lead position. This is a critical role required to support the reporting and analysis requirements of the Not Permitted Technology (NPT) Program
• Technology Business Analyst role supporting the enterprise Not Permitted Technology (NPT) Program. The candidate would support the implementation and execution of agile reporting strategies (e.g. using Tableau, etc). The candidate would also be responsible for developing and documenting business and data requirements for new reports or metrics and for performing related UAT testing. Other accountabilities including owning and resolving data research questions, producing monthly executive reports, and writing commentary on analytic results. Candidate should have the technical infrastructure savvy to face off with System Administrators or Engineers in the field questioning the data.
• 5 - 7 years. Provides technical & business systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. Translates business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications. Acts as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors. Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed. Has the required domain knowledge, as applicable

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years infrastructure experience; 2-5 years reporting and analytics background; skilled in Tableau and other reporting capabilities; strong Excel skills; ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities; intellectually curious - able to proactively analyze information and follow thru on potential issue to root cause and solution; ability to work across organizations to deliver results; strong presentation skills; attention to detail

Desired Skills:

• QA experience, including User Interface / functionality testing and data validation
