Technical Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Technical Analyst for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

  • The role is responsible for the understanding, assessing the impact of, and implementing control functions regarding new technical bank policies and vendor maintenance events for the CashPro Alerts, Fraud, and Security development teams. The individual will partner closely with the application control specialist to intake the new policies or changes, then research and/or return the requested information and then implement routines to ensure future compliance. The individual will have the support of the key software engineering resources as needed to aid in their responsibilities. This resource will need to understand technical architecture and application design to aid in researching. You may be an ideal candidate if you have previous experience as part of an architecture or software engineering team, or as a technical analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that risk, security, and other compliance deliverables are completed on time and per requirements
  • Working with application control specialists, application owners and other development teams to complete
  • Complete administrative, technical non-technical tasks related to compliance deliverables
  • Assist with audit exams and risk assessments for the applications
  • Track and support the technical security and risk activities performed by the development teams
  • Work closely with vendors for vendor applications to ensure the application meets bank requirements
  • Assist with ad hoc inquiries and questions about the application
  • Interface with agile team resources (Product Owner, Software Engineers) to share new technical requirements and ensure their addition on the team backlog.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of proven working experience in technical project management, non-technical tasks related to application & infrastructure request and compliance deliverables
  • Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS-Project
  • Defining norms/agreements and enforce the agreements taking them through adoption
  • Developing execution strategies/plans while tracking deliverables and milestones against them
  • Strong working experience for adherence to application management compliance – organizing kick off meeting, defining scope/objectives, deadlines, milestones, executive reporting and building artifacts to evidence for audit tollgates
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical terms
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Collaboration and building contacts with various stakeholders with excellent negotiation, client-facing and internal communication skills
