Tax Project Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Tax Project Manager for our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• GBAM Tax Project Manager to manage the Client Tax Information Reporting work stream of the GBAM Tax Program, which includes 4 key projects that focus on:
• Developing reporting solution progressed in 2020 to remediate issues with regulatory tax reporting; specifically for IFU and FATCA/CRS
• Building on functionality delivered in 2020 to systematically enforce tax documentation requirements when opening an account, in order to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:

• Project Manage the work stream, including coordination of activities across Operations and Technology
• Track and communicate delivery status
• Identify and manage project risks and issues
• Adhere to enterprise change management standards
• Work with end users to define functional requirements and prepare User Acceptance Testing
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing execution and Production parallel activities

Requirements:

• Proven track record of delivering complex projects to plan and on budget
• Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at different levels
• Knowledge of structured project management methods such as PRINCE2
• Experience of requirements gathering and test preperation
• Experience of working in Financial Services
