Tableau Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a SQL Developer for our client in Charlotte, NC OR Chicago, IL OR Addison, TX OR Pennington, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Aggregation of data and reporting information to various businesses across the Bank.
• Design and develop dashboards and reporting Excel and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy)
• Perform advanced data extraction from various source databases, normalization of data and automation of processes
• Identify and understand data and respond to questions about data or reported information
• Write substantial documentation such as extensive technical documentation
• Perform Data Quality validations
• Collaborate with requestors to understand data needs
• Candidate Requirements (Including Years): Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel experience
• SQL/SSIS/SSRS experience
• Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders in a clear, concise and influential way
• Independent problem solving
• Critical thinking
• Data quality mindset
• Collaboration and ability to work in a team environment
• Takes initiative and manages time well

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Programming knowledge (VBA, Python, Java)
• MS Excel automation experience
• Experience in compliance, EIT, or consumer knowledge
• Knowledge of the different types of databases or systems used by the Bank
• Experience with the design and development of reports in Tableau
