Systems Integrator (Closed)
SkillStorm is seeking a Systems Integrator for our client in Addison, TX OR Chicago, IL OR Washington DC OR Denver, CO. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- This position is responsible for playing a technical role in successful customization, integration and automation with a focus on providing hands-on, follow the sun, technical operational support for commercial and custom software applications. Responsible for supporting information security technologies with a focus on Microsoft and Linux environments. The role involves interaction with Business stakeholders as well as other Technical teams globally across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a subject matter expert, providing support and leading the technical triage for
- Problems with application and maintaining a high degree of customer service
- Communicating to clients and partners aspects of both the product and the implementation
- At the technical and/or functional level.
- Working with project and development teams, shadowing projects and enhancements, to ensure minimal impact to the production environments.
- Reverse Engineer previously written program and document business process.
- Log analysis, application and Operating system troubleshooting, software deployment,
- Quality Analysis for standard processes.
- Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Ensure requirements are gathered, processes defined, and use cases documented.
- Provide knowledge transfer and post production support activities as necessary.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or
- Systems integrator with automation experience.
- Must have working experience with UNIX and LINUX environments with SOA and Java
- Components, Command line, UNIX/Bash shell scripting & Perl Scripting.
- Highly proficient with Database Technologies – Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
- Highly proficient with Linux/Unix System.
- Develop Solutions to automate manual & Operation tasks.
- Experience with web/app server, database, ADK and Java language, Oracle, Cassandra, and
- Autosys job Mgmt. for scheduling, monitoring and reporting.
- Extensive experience of batch scheduler like Autosys or Ctrl-M. Handling Monitoring/Batch
- Ops tools like CA Autosys, Sites cop, and Splunk.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, risk and its integration into threat modelling.
- Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
- Experience of monitoring technologies and tech tools, e. g Splunk, Dynatrace, Ansible Tower, Blade Logic.
- Design and contribute to performance monitoring and capacity management tools and
- Experience with REST API.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Nice To Have:
- Foundational knowledge of Cybersecurity principles.
- ITL Certifications.
- Advanced Security certifications: SANS, GIAC, CISSP
