Systems Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Systems Engineer for our client in Pennington, NJ OR Charlotte, NC OR Richardson, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Responsible for design, development, implementation and maintenance of systems engineering activities to support distributed (midrange) and mainframe batch in lower level test environments.

Required Skills:

• Application Development or Support Experience.
• Strong analytical, triage and issue resolution skills.
• Good Communication skills
• Work well with team members.
• Ability to work in cross functional and multi-location teams.
• Experience/Ability with working in complex, highly integrated, fast paced and high volume environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly with application and technology changes. May be required to work in shifts.

Experience With The Following Technical Skills:

• Autosys and JIL
• Linux
• Unix Commands and Unix Shell Scripting
• RDBMS and SQL experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Vertica. ETL/DataStage

Desired Skills:

• Financial Industry Experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC concepts.
• Experience with automation scripts like REXX, CLIST EZYTRIEVE and Powershell Script.
• Mainframe Experience with batch activities including CA7, JCL, TSO, NDM, etc.,
