Sr. Software Testing Analyst (Closed)

The Sr Software Testing Analyst will provide oversight over the testing effort. Their duties will include reviewing requirements, creating testing assets, executing testing, coordinating, and re-testing defects, holding and compiling test status meetings and reports and ensuring that testing is appropriately included and executed in the development pipeline.

 Execute tests (manual/automated). (30%)

Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data. (10%) Report defects and assist in their understanding. (10%) Analyze test results and track software testing metrics (10%) Prepare and present test reports. (10%) Work with other appropriate areas to ensure testing is appropriately executed and managed in development pipelines. (10%) Provide oversight over testing effort (5%) Review business/software requirements and provide inputs (5%) Prepare/review test plans (5%) Perform other duties as the supervisor may, from time to time deem necessary (5%)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma 5 years of relevant work experience; this includes experience in system integration, performance, and automation testing; Application Program Interface (API) testing experience -- manual or using tools (example SoapUI, Selenium); SQL and database -- ability to create complex datasets Demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies and project management Demonstrated knowledge of testing -- test plan creation; test case development; test data management; testing status management; defect management; test case execution Demonstrated knowledge of the Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management tool Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated coordination and leadership skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Health industry and specifically Medicare experience Agile experience
