Security / Risk Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Security / Risk Analyst for our client in Addison, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• The candidate will be part of Cross Domain functional technology team which provides governance across advance technology platforms. The candidate will need technical background and accumen to uncover risk areas while working closely with architecture and engineering teams. Experience with information security governance is crucial to this role. Candidate should be comfortable to navigate through ambiguous situations to succeed.

Required Skills:

• 7+ year experience with In-depth information security expertise. Information Technology or risk management experience
• 3+ years experience with technology risk management and compliance.
• 5+ years experience with process governance and reporting.
• 5+ years technical analyst preferably working on Hadoop technologies and exposure to architecture concepts
• Ability to track the performance of the process to ensure delivery of desired results
• Proven experience to navigate through ambiguous situations and deliver results
• Ability to communicate the concepts clearly, identify and justify applicable standards and best practices
• Player / Coach with ability to wear multiple hats and do what is required to get the job done
• Ability to operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, internal teams, security - compliance
• Solid communication, presentation development and follow through skills
