Security Engineer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking an IT Security Specialist for our client in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• 10 + years. Responsible for providing security expertise. Provides baseline security standards and policies for multiple projects of very high complexity or very high visibility. Will be identifying potential threats and risks and making recommendations to prevent these issues. In-depth information security expertise. Information Technology or risk management experience. Requires overall high-level understanding of security along with technical security background (including some architecture experience). Key individual contributor, with accountability for enabling secure environments (processes and technologies) for the business and technology groups. Utilizes technical and business knowledge to design and implement secure, risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies. Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels. Mastery with information security topics, including the design, development, implementation or governance of information security solutions. Knowledge to design and implement secure, risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies

Job Responsibilities:

• Mac management via MDM (Workspace ONE)
• Creation or Migration of MDM configurations for macOS Big Sur and Monterey.
• Configure WS1 environments with essential configurations.
• Provisioning, Security, and Basic software VPN/Office.
• Build Munki Infrastructure,
• Migrate code Python 2 to Python 3

Required Job Skills:

• Infrastructure configuration and management of macOS using: VMware Workstation One, Munki, and Jamf Policies & Scripts
• Expert in Python 2 to Python 3 migrations
• Experience with managing a Mac in a highly secured and/or large environment
• Extensive attention to detail
• Possessing a strong sense of urgency and ownership of work
