SkillStorm is seeking a Scrum Master for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:

- Develop Agile Adoption Strategy - The Agile Transformation Scrum Master is responsible for designing a strategy for the organizational adoption of Agile. This includes every stage of adoption, from the introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining Agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement;
- Lead the documentation and communication effort for a Scale Agile approach. Responsible for creating process and uncovering risks.
- Coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team.
- Implement Agile Methodology - This task entails implementing Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organization. The Agile Transformation Scrum Master must use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation. In order to do this, the Agile Coach must also embody the Agile principles and lead by example.
- The Agile Transformation Scrum Master must educate teammates at all levels, including senior, on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work. Provide training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years’ experience in technology and working in an agile environment
- Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
- Ability to lead discussions and create clear and concise documentation
- Ability to enhance process and efficiency
- Willingness to facilitate learning and empower team members to teach others (Train the Trainer)
- Excellent proficiency and hands-on experience with Jira
- Expert in pulling reports from Jira tool
- Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team).
- Experience in education and demonstrating facilitation of core agile practices including but not limited to:
- Servant Leadership
- Feature and story backlog prioritization and refinement
- Release planning (Program Increment)
- Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Solid communication, relationship, and process management skill
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology, software development, and testing processes
- Organized, motivated, team-player, intellectually curious and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Ability to conduct discussions with senior leaders, managers, and team members
- Proactive - takes initiative/preempts stakeholder requirements before they connect and prepares accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and assertive – able to logically and emphatically put across her/his point of view to influence/convince coming
- Ability to flex/stretch/multi-task given time-critical business needs
- Ability to build trusted relationships with business leaders, team members and managers across global locations
- Strong leadership skills in managing cross functional strategic initiatives
Desired Skills:
- Have Agile/Scrum/SAFe certification
- Experience in Agile Transformation at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies
