SkillStorm is seeking a Scrum Master for our client in Plano, TX. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
Job Description:
- The Agile Scrum Master is responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of highly complex projects that span multiple departments within a single business unit. The Scrum Master facilitates the Agile methodology and activities; manages, leads and directs the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution. Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage Project Scope
- Partner with Product Owner and lead daily SCRUM meetings for the project team and partners
- Remove impediments to enable team to deliver project, with keen focus on the activities, progress, timeline and budget
- Obtain and align resources to key project roles
- Establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities
- Manage and lead project execution, integration and implementation
- Oversee risk management, mitigation planning readiness, change adoption, and stakeholder management
- Quality Assurance -Ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied
- Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project
Required Skills:
- Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills
- Strong Technology Project Management experience
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC Methodologies
- Mobile or eCommerce technology background
- Analytical experience ability to interpret business requirements into technical solutions, issue resolution, risk mitigation and avoidance
- Experience with forecasting and financial analysis to ensure proper resource allocation is maintained to support efforts within funding limits
- Experienced in implementing concurrent technology projects on-time and on-budget
- Skilled experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of core banking functions, processes and operations
- Ability to triage lower environment and production issues
- Familiarity with UX management and processes
- PMP certification
