Scrum Master (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Scrum Master for our client in New York, NY OR Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Must possess knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
• Experience with SAFE agile, release train, scrum, Kanban process and PI planning
• Practice and encourage continuous improvement both personally and with the team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail.
• Self-starter, with comfortability in fast-paced environments.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail required.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and make decisions.
• Able to deal with conflict, provide training on the Agile approach to project management, motivate and drive teams to be high performing.
• Understand areas of application development, database, infrastructure, and client server architectures
• Experience with QA automation preferred
• Experience with Jira software or other Jira tools used for Scrum and reporting on scrum team. Agile view, Jira Rally, Version one etc.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, IT Project Manager / Scrum Master in and Agile environment.
• Certified scrum master desired.
