Scrum Master (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Scrum Master for our client in Pennington, New Jersey, Chandler, Arizona, Dallas, Texas, OR Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Description:

• This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g. prioritizing Risk, compliance and security items, and supporting audits. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Owners, Development teams and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
• 3+ years of Agile, Jira experience
• Engage with domain experts to define requirements for solutions, define and develop alternative approaches, documentation and validation
• Create and execute a multiyear program targeted at bringing advanced analytics to enhance decisions in the customer space
• This role ensures the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team
• Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating meetings, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team
• Promotes and coaches the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential
• Ensures team adherence to best practices as defined by but not limited to agile/scrum, phased project advancements, code documentation and review, information security, intellectual property documentation
• Guides and Coaches both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most out of self-organization
