Risk Manager (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Risk Manager for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Subject matter expert for Global Information Security (GIS) Programs around vulnerability management, Non-Permitted Technology (NPT), ADSF, and Enhanced Remediation Programs (ERP). Serves as a liaison between application managers, Global Markets Technical team, senior leadership, CTO and Global Information Security. Will be part of a Risk and Controls teams that will govern the timely remediation/completion of these GIS programs. Responsible for the creation and management of Enhanced Remediation Program (ERPs) as well as deliverables within and driving them to completion. Ad hoc reporting to senior leadership, Global Information Security, and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to identify thematic issues and drive those issues to timely completion
• Work with Service Delivery Managers to produce metric reports that drive awareness and sense of urgency to application teams
• Work with Continuous Monitoring, Tableau Reporting Sites, ROCK
• Working with application teams drive open vulnerabilities to completion
• Develop a strong business acumen within Global Markets as it relates to GIS Programs

Required Skills:

• Prior Risk Management Experience
• Excellent MS-Office skills (including PowerPoint (for presentations) and Excel (for manipulating large amounts of data)
• Skilled in handling multiple priorities with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Work within a team but also have the ability to work for extended period in standalone roles to meet targets and deadlines
• Ability to analyze details and shape results into conclusions and recommendations for management
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and ability to build relationships
• Must be able to collaborate and influence across a matrix environment
• Highly organized with excellent customer service, accountability, and negotiation skills.
• Experience must include Infrastructure experience, either managing infrastructure projects or working as SA, DBA, or similar

Desired Skills:

• Scripting / Programming skills within the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
• Knowledge of Information Security practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience
• PMP or other project management certification
