Data Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a Risk Manager for our client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• The Role requires manipulation of multiple large sets of related data, and and expert level of Excel, and the ability to establish relationships between data and be able to combine these to uncover patterns and to tell a story with that data. Functioning Knowledge of SQL and MS Access are a big plus. The only candidates I saw that might have met this criteria have withdrawn, aside from the one I did interview who had clearly overstated their level of technical capabilities
• Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience.
• Risk & Regulatory Management
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to prioritize work and provide effective communications / reporting with various levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of application life cycle management, risk management, and information security best practices
• Advanced knowledge of SharePoint, MS Excel & PowerPoint
• General background in technology risk and controls
• Experience working with Audit and managing audit issues remediation
• Technical background in application development and information security
• Specific background in Identity and Access Management
• Specific experience with Logging and Monitoring technologies including Instrumentation as a Service, Splunk, and Guardium
• Experience managing deliverables using the RISE tool
• Typically a minimum of 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: audit, risk management, program management, or application product management in a Global organization
• General knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement
