React / Java Developer (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a React / Java Developer for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• Experienced REACT/Java developer will be responsible for front-end development for a multi-year project to build a new Policy Change Management Portal comprising new capabilities and enhancements to existing applications that together will transform the end-to-end Enterprise Policy Change Management process in the bank. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

• ReactJS

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with UI tools and frameworks. 8-10 years of applicable experience with REACT, Java and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables. Strong experience with JIRA.
• Working knowledge of BPM tools.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent organization skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and effectively prioritize work to meet competing deadlines.
• Experience with onsite-offshore coordination.
• Individual contributor role.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Risk Management and Policy Management.
• Knowledge of MuleSoft API development, and Camunda BPM.
• Knowledge of application security and standards.
