QA Analyst (Closed)

SkillStorm is seeking a QA Analyst for our client in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.

Job Description:

• FICC rates team is looking for a motivated individual contributor with 5+ years of hand-on experience in manual/automation QA testing.
• Though this role will primary serve as QA analyst, someone who is proficient in automation, in creating and working on automation framework using python/Java and selenium. Knowledge on QTP, VB scripting, Test complete would be plus. This individual would be primary responsible for working closely with development & QA team in order to understand automation opportunity and convert those opportunities into small wins
• Additionally the individual would be responsible for manual and automation test creation, automation test maintenance and execution of test scripts with a focus on automating new functionality, pre-release and post-release maintenance, or driving efficient testing in other areas.
• Would be responsible to identify and improve the quality, capability and efficiency of the testing & release process.

Must Have These Skills To Minimally Qualified:

• Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle/ Software Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC) and their interrelationships.
• Experience in Release management & documentation
• Experience in Manual and/or Automation testing
• Experience in development in any object oriented programming languages
• Experience in defect tracking and test management tools like HP Quality Center (QC), JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivated, Self-Starter and Organized
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Exposure to Global Markets in financial asset class

Desired Skills:

• Experience in automation testing tool – Test Complete/ Selenium/ QTP/ Cucumber/Manual Testing with the aptitude to Learn Python and Selenium
• Knowledge of Python or Java / Unix Scripting.
• Experience in API, Database Testing & Performance Testing
